Do you need to be good at taking pictures?

The short answer is no. If you can even take just basic pictures that is good enough to get you started. However, I'm sure you have heard the saying that pictures are worth a thousand words and that is never truer then when you are selling crafts on the Internet.

The pictures that you take of your craft are the only thing that is connecting the potential buyer of your craft with there desire to purchase it.

Make sure you are spending a good amount of time on taking your pictures and are changing up the lighting and background to find the desired results.

Being able to take good pictures is something you are going to have to learn how to do and it will take time but the only way you are going to get better is by doing.

Be sure that you do not allow your picture taking abilities to keep you from opening up your own craft store though. Taking good pictures is something that will grow with you over time just like your business will.
